Our Story
60 years of memories. One extraordinary waterfront.
Some of our guests first arrived as children. Today they return with children and grandchildren of their own. Rooms change. Summers change. The reason people come back hasn't.
1964
Where the story began
A handful of rooms on the bank of the Sauble River, a dock, and families who drove up from the city for a week of swimming and fishing.
Generations of Summers
Families return year after year
The same weeks. The same rooms. Children who learned to paddle here came back with children of their own, and the river kept its place at the centre of it.
The Next Chapter
A modern waterfront destination
Six years of work on beds, bathrooms, floors, water systems and the waterfront itself. Much of it invisible — which is the point. Preserve the soul. Improve everything around it.

"My parents brought me here in 1979. This summer I watched my daughter jump off the same dock."
"We come for the river. The kids disappear into the water at ten and we see them again at dinner."
"Nothing fancy, everything right. The chairs by the water are worth the drive on their own."
